Information about website use
When you visit our website, we use analytics and measurement technologies to understand how the site is used and how people arrive there.
This may include information such as pages viewed, interactions, device and browser information and the source of a visit.
We use this information to understand website use and marketing performance and do not use it ourselves to identify individual visitors.
We currently use services including:
- Google Analytics;
- Microsoft Clarity; and
- LinkedIn advertising and measurement technologies.
These services may use cookies or similar technologies.
Where consent is required, non-essential analytics and advertising technologies will only be used after you have provided that consent. You will be able to accept, reject or manage your choices through the cookie controls on our website.
Services we use
We use selected third-party services to support this activity, including:
- Calendly for meeting bookings;
- LinkedIn for advertising, campaign measurement and Lead Gen Forms;
- Google for website analytics; and
- Microsoft Clarity for understanding website interaction and user experience.
These providers may process information on our behalf or, in some circumstances, for their own purposes under their own privacy policies.
Some of these providers operate internationally and information may therefore be processed outside the United Kingdom. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
Our basis for using your information
Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information on the basis of:
- legitimate interests, where it is reasonably necessary to respond to business interest, operate and develop our business, understand the effectiveness of our marketing or communicate with relevant business contacts; or
- consent, where you have specifically agreed to a particular use, including where consent is required for website tracking or particular marketing communications.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider those interests against your rights and reasonable expectations.
Confidential information
We treat information shared with us in introductory and exploratory discussions as confidential and use it only for the purpose of understanding your situation, discussing whether DecideGuide may be able to help, or preparing a potential engagement.
We do not disclose that information outside D&Co International Ltd and those supporting us where reasonably necessary, except where you agree otherwise or disclosure is required by law.
Where particularly sensitive or commercially important information is involved, a separate confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement may be appropriate.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
The appropriate period will depend on the nature of the interaction and whether there is an ongoing business reason to retain the information. We periodically review information we hold and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete or restrict use of certain information;
- object to certain uses of your information; and
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
